INSURANCE UNDERWRITER AND CUSTOMER SERVICING OFFICER

Our client a locally owned and operated  insurance agency,  BOUNTY LINK INSURANCE AGENCY that  was registered in year 2008 that is is committed to providing quality insurance products for individuals and businesses is seeking to employ an Insurance underwriter and customer servicing officer.

This is an outstanding opportunity for candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit, drive for career advancement and desire to develop relationships while helping to grow a book of business.

Duties

1. Insurance business processing:  answer customer inquiries via phone, e-mail and in-person, submit claim reports, prepare certificates of insurance and binders, filing, prepare correspondence, process changes to insurance policies.

2. Support  and process new business; obtain sales leads; set appointments each week; promote insurance products; support the sale of general, medical and Life Insurance Products.

3. Promote, quote, sell and solicit sales for Individual Health Insurance products.

4. Maintain all records and files, open and close office.

5. Record all money transactions and make bank deposits.

6. Maintain accurate premium information by administering the renewal process, assigning new clients, maintaining a paid listing of clients.

7. Assist in the planning of meetings and other meetings/events if requested.

8. Maintain good communication with the line manager on issues relating to membership and service programs.

9. Ability to operate all office equipment such as telephone, printer, postage machine and fax machine.

10. Perform other duties as requested by the incharge

 

Qualifications

 1. High reliability and integrity

2. Self-starter, willing to undertake difficult projects and able to function well with minimal supervision

 3. Able to supervise and inspire others to high performance

 4. Able to multi-task effectively, and to create and manage complex business systems

 5. Proven successful experience in administration Management or equivalent

 6. Diploma or Degree in business management or related field

 7. A certificate in insurance

 8. A minimum of 1-4 years of experience insurance industry in administrative support.

 

 Compensation:

 A GROSS PAY of Kshs 20,000.00 Strong opportunity for increase based on performance.
