Our client APA Insurance ( http://www.apainsurance.org/ ) a subsidiary of Apollo Group (Apollo Investments Limited) is seeking to employ 10 Sales Agents.

 

Apollo Investments Limited (AIL) was established in 1977, has been at the fore front of Innovations and taking bold and daring steps in the Insurance and Financial service sectors and include

1. APA Insurance (Kenya and Uganda underwriting General Insurance risks such as Fire, Marine, Aviation, Personal Accident, Motor, Liability, Agriculture, Property, and Micro Insurance coupled with Health Insurance i.e. Corporate, Individual & Family Health Insurance),

2. APA Life Assurance that has been recognised as The Best Insurance Company in Claims Settlement (Life Business),

3. Apollo Asset Management, an investment and wealth management firm licensed by the Retirement Benefits Authority (RBA) and the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) to conduct fund management and investment advisory services

4. Gordon Court (Apollo Conference Centre)

 

The Sales Agents Responsibilities include

1. Sell general policies that protect from losses due to unexpected eventualities.

2. Offer other insurance policies that cover the costs that occur due to inherent risks.

3. Seek out leads and new clients and sell insurance policies to potential clients.

4. Assist clients to select the most appropriate policies majorly for life.

5. Answer questions and make changes to existing policies

6. Maintain reports and records of insurance policies.

7.Obtain price quotes and process applications

8. Advise clients on how to minimize risk.

9. Maintain regular contact with clients.

 

The ideal candidate must have;

1. Attained C and above in KCSE

2. Degree/Diploma holder would be an added advantage

3. Mature and intelligent with 25 years and above

4. Some sales experience in any field is desired but not a must,

5. Certificate of Proficiency (COP) would be an added advantage

6. Excellent selling skills – prospecting, meeting sales goals, client relationships, product knowledge

7. Excellent presentation skills – able to clearly present product and service information to clients.
