Associate Trainer and Sales Representative

Our client a prime leadership and management consultancy firm engaged in Corporate Training, Mentorship and Coaching  is looking for an Associate Trainer and Sales Representative. 

Job Summary

The role holder will execute sales activities of the firm and be involved in training activities in readiness to progressively take over full training duties in future.

 

Responsibilities

a. Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers

b. Perform cost-­benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

c. Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships

d. Reach out to customer leads through cold calling

e. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

f. Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

g. Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

h. Keep abreast of best practices, promotional trends and continuously improve through feedback

i. Liaise with the clients’ firm management to determine training needs and schedule training sessions

k. Champion selection, coordination and booking of venues for seminars, workshops, individual training sessions etc.

l. Support design and preparation of effective training programs and materials such as module summaries, videos etc.

 

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a sales representative in corporate trainer

2. Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

3. Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

4. Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

5. Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs

6. Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

7. Understanding of effective training methodologies and tools

8. Willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in corporate training

9. Proficient in MS Office (esp. Powerpoint is an asset and a definite advantage.

10. Phenomenal communication, presentation and public speaking skills

11. Critical thinking and decision making

1. A fixed salary of Kshs 15,000.00 that will be improved to Kshs 20,000.00 on completion of three months probation period will be offered coupled with attractive commissions on individual performance.
