1. Develop marketing strategies, seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients.

2. Offer clients a comprehensive financial planning and sell various types of insurance policies including life, medical and automobile among others by explaining their benefits and features to clients and calculating the premiums.

3. Customize insurance programs to suit individual customers, often covering a variety of risks and establish payment method.

4. Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled, including any necessary medical examinations and the completion of appropriate forms.

5. Call on policyholders to deliver and explain policy, to analyze insurance program and suggest additions or changes, or to change beneficiaries.

6. Attend meetings, seminars and programs to learn about new products and services, learn new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts.

7. Monitor insurance claims to ensure they are settled equitably for both the client and the insurer.

8. Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and handling policy renewals.



1. A holder of a degree or diploma in sales, marketing, business or any relevant discipline.

2. Excellent Interpersonal skills with a minimum sales experience.

3. Prior training or experience in insurance will be added advantage

4. Excellent Communication skills and good negotiating skills,

5. Mature (23 Years and above), presentable and pleasant person
