Assistant Sales Administrator - intern

Our client a technical firm dealing with security systems and services is looking for a young, friendly, vibrant and easy-going persons to fill the position of an Assistant Sales Administrator - intern that will initially be on attachment basis and later confirmed.


Job summary

To provides administrative and clerical support to the office and maintain an efficient office environment reporting to the office manager.


Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Receiving walk-in customers warmly and taking them through our products in the showroom

2. Receiving incoming calls and responding to enquiries

3. Facilitating pre-sales and the sales process (calling prospects, introducing our products, preparing quotes, pro forma invoices, invoices, delivery notes etc.

4. Coordinating office activities e.g teams going to the field, order deliveries etc

5. Managing inventory - receiving incoming stock, ensuring stock minimum levels are maintained, creating reports, ordering stock, updating stock prices in the POS etc.

6. Filing confidential office documents

7. Sales and marketing (in- field or telephone sales)


Basic Requirements and Skills

1. A diploma in Sales and marketing, business administration or equivalent

2. Two (2) years' experience in an office environment preferably procurement or front office departments

3. Ability to handle multiple interactions and support demands across the organization

4. Excellent planning, organization and problem solving skills.

5. Good interpersonal relations and communication.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

7. Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment

8. Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and excel

9. Supervisory , analytical and problem solving skills with high level of integrity

10 Superior organization and planning skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
