Sales Executives (Capital Goods)

Our client a medium size organization dealing with capital goods is seeking to employ mature, aggressive, self-driven and confident Sales Executives (Capital Goods) with valid driving license. 

 

 Job Summary:

To achieve optimal sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and related services from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.

 

Sales Representative Job Duties:

1. Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

2. Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.

3. Deliver goods to customer as need be and collect all the overdue accounts, submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.

4. Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of customers.

5. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

6. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

7. Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

8. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

9. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

10. Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

 

Qualifications:

a. Holders of a degree in Marketing or Technical degree;

b. Must have a minimum of one to two years’ experience in the sales;

c. Preference will be given to those with hands experience in selling capital or hardware goods to end users

i. Prospecting, presentation and negotiation skills,

ii. Excellent communication skills and approachable person

iii. Knowledge of client relationship territory management selling approach,

iv Self-confident, highly energized and motivated person product knowledge.

v. Customer service ability to meet and exceed sales goals and ability to develop long time relationships

 

Salary

A starting salary of Kshs 40,000.00 forty thousand shillings only will be offered with attractive commissions.
