Our client a composite insurance firm highly ranked in life, medical and general insurance business is seeking to employ self-motivated individuals with great sales capabilities as Unit Managers

Job Summary

The role holder is responsible for managing agents, training agents and achieving sales targets for the team


Job Description

1. Support the existing sales team, identify, recruit and retain high caliber financial advisors and meet the unit recruitment requirements

2. Develop a high caliber, highly motivated, disciplined and productive sales team capable of meeting individual and company targets.

3. Meet and exceed targets allocated to the unit on all lines of business.

4. Co-ordinate, supervise and motivate Financial Advisors in the unit and ensure that company policies and procedures are observed and performance standards regarding profitability and efficiency are attained within the set deadlines.

5. To give effective field training for all Financial Advisors in the Unit.

6. Professionalism: Promote and project in all sales activity a high degree of professionalism within the unit.


Minimum Requirements

A. At least a diploma or a degree in areas such as education, marketing, economics or finance and accounting;

B. Certificate of Proficiency (COP) certification with a strong flair for sales;

C. The candidate must be Ready to recruit a sales Team, work under minimal supervision and result oriented who will focus his/her team to achieve personal goals but align them to company targets.

D. Strong communication skills and computer literate (evidence required)

E. Previous proven successful unit management experience in life insurance sales especially check off business like TSC, Counties, DOD etc;

F. A high sales drive and a strong will to succeed with ability to manage others;

G. Extremely mature person with ability to work without supervision displaying confident, articulacy and with;

H. Results oriented with ability to work under strict deadlines and meet sales targets;

I. Well groomed, presentable and strong interpersonal skills; must have a Laptop and Driving
