Our client, a fast growing credit and financial advisory business (MFI) is looking for candidates who can demonstrate professional competence, high degree of personal integrity and maturity, strong drive for success, and possess suitable qualifications for Customer Service Advisors position to be stationed at Nairobi.


Job Summary 

To act as liaison between customers and the financial institution by helping qualified loan applicants acquire loans in a timely manner by evaluating, processing approvals or deny loan applications for people or for business.



 1. Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans and communicate with clients either to request or to provide information, Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans

2. Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits and assist in completing loan contracts and counsel clients on loan policies and restrictions

3. Maintain and update account records while updating yourself on job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services

4. Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction throughout the lending process

5.  Handling customer feedback and complaints by resolving product or service challenges by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; correcting or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.

6. Building relationships with existing referral sources and cultivate new referral sources both internally and externally.

7. Performing other administrative functions


The positions are of entry level and ideal candidate must have;

1. Excellent client services skills – meeting set goals, client relationships, product knowledge, pleasant personality & Good interpersonal skills

2. Strictly at least a mean grade of C plain in KCSE, C in Maths & English coupled by a min diploma in Business related course and basic accounting skills.

4. A go getter, aggressive, focused, result oriented with passion in service delivery as well as mature and intelligent person, at least 23 years 

5. Those with IT background and accounts will definitely have added advantage.

6. Excellent presentation skills – able to clearly present product and service information to clients.

7. Excellent judgemental and analytical skills - ability to do simple calculations while keen to details and trends 


1. A starting salary of at least Kshs 20,000.00 negotiable will be offered coupled with attractive commissions on individual performance.
