SALES ADMINISTRATOR

Our client dealing with supplies of technical equipment’s in several institutions in the region is seeking to employ a Sales Administrator with excellent customer service, sales and basic accounting skills at Nairobi South B Next to College of Mass Communication.

 

JOB SUMMARY 

The administrator will act as the link between the existing and potential customers and the firm while keeping records of sale process and status by tracking customer information, keeping and providing post-sale customer service reports and other sales activities like processing tenders and orders.

 

Duties of a Sales Administrator:

a. Processing and coordinating customer’s orders for delivery and invoices for all sales transactions.

b. Checking prices and contracts are up to date.

c. Reporting monthly sales results to the sales team.

d. Supporting the sales force with general operations to help reach the team’s objectives.

e. Advice customers on stock-outs, promotions and new products with the aim of influencing sales.

f. Ensuring customers cheques are deposited as per dates written on cheque and share a tracking report. 

g. Receive, address or route any customer queries appropriately

h. Communicating internally important feedback from customers and dealing emails.

 

Requirements for the role:

1. Degree/Diploma in Business Management or Sales and Marketing with at least CPA one qualification

2. At least work experience in Sales and Marketing environment

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

4. High organisational skills and ability to multitask.

5. Ability to prioritise own workload.

6. Well versed in accounting and Microsoft Office Suite.

7. An administrative or sales background would be an added advantage.

8. Must be detail oriented and with excellent analytical skills.

9. Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with and manage customer expectations.

 

Remunerations

1. A guiding pay of Kshs 25,000.00 will be offered to the successful candidate.

2. Progressive training, exposure to corporate marketing and sales activities.
