Our client a fast growing medium size  manufacturing firm offering agribusiness solutions to farmers  co-operatives  and other institutions through  Hermetic bags for grain storage (maize, beans and wheat ) making them disease and pest free for a longer time is seeking to employ an ACCOUNTANT (Zoho Experts)


Job Summary

1. To collect, organize, prepare and examine financial records while making sure that records are accurate and properly payments are made on time.

2. To perform the accounting duties providing the financial operations overview of the firm in order to run efficiently.



1. Enter receipts and other accounting documents (organized by our administrator) into Zoho accounting software

2. Maintain proper accounting of goods through the procurement and production process while controlling income and expenditure

3. Compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements.

4. Prepare cash accounts and bank reconciliation on monthly basis 

5. Compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements and collaborate with management on the company financial policy improvements.

6.  Make timely payments to suppliers and handle matters pertaining to service providers

7. Administer pay payroll and Make monthly statutory filings (PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, VAT, etc.)

8. Maintain staff employment contracts, other company documents, licenses and undertake filings.



1. One to three years general accounting work experience in small to medium size companies preferably in manufacturing environment. 

2. A holder of a degree in accounting, related courses like business studies, Economics, management with a strong up-to-date technology expertise 

 3. Sufficient knowledge, use and experiences Zoho accounting package  with professional qualifications in accounting including CPA or ACCA or an equivalent certification are a definite advantage.

4. Must show evidence of high level of personal ethics,integrity and responsibility with ability to self-manage (prioritize, schedule tasks and complete on time, solve problems, etc.)

5. Must be  intelligence, adaptable to changing environment with a reputation of being honest

6. Working experience in regulatory compliance requirements of KRA, KEBS, NHIF, NSSF among others is highly preferred.

7. A  teamwork player with excellent leadership and interpersonal leadership skills coupled with strong written and oral communication skills 

8. Excellent organizational skills with a good ability to display commercial awareness with excellent analytical capabilities,   

9. Fast learner with a good sense of humor and willing to work in a flexible work style of multicultural environment.



A starting salary of Kshs 50,000.00-60,000.00  will be offered depending on the current pay, experiences and qualifications
