Our client a regional and one of the largest insurance company  wish to employ Insurance Agents as part of building and growing its sales force and  candidates with requisite competencies, capabilities, skills, talents and qualifications described below are hereby encouraged to apply.

 

Responsibilities

a. Selling general insurance products professionally by creating consumer awareness/ customers’ sensitization initiatives, processing insurance transactions within defined terms and conditions.

b. Work closely with the  business leader to ensure the set targets are met on insurance business, leveraging the existing clientele and expanding the business portfolio by actively and aggressively selling the insurance products

c. Identifying potential business opportunities and marketing initiatives in Nairobi and its environs and seeking necessary support from the company in liaison with the management in actualizing these into revenues

d. Ensuring reviews are done to clients who are in the books

e. Ensure clients who have pending issues with the company are kept abreast on progress for the same

f. Participate in unit and branch meetings and offer valuable ideas contributing towards the growth of business and meeting unit targets

 

Qualifications

1. Mature person of 27 years age or above.

2. A diploma in a business related course or a sales experience in the insurance or banking sector.

3. Must have a minimum Mean grade of C Plain in K.C.S.E with a C Plain in Mathematics and English.

4. Good planning and organization skills with the ability to deliver effectively under strict deadlines.

5. Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills.

6. Excellent data management skills and proficiency in the use of MS Office software applications

7. Accuracy and attention to detail.

8. Co-operative, assertive, team player and able to work independently and offer effective solutions.

9. Ability to work and develop long term relationships

10. Good appreciation and knowledge of insurance business.

11. Responsible, reliable, has leadership skills and business acumen to spot opportunities readily.

12. A creative, proactive, passionate and innovative individual with a passion for excellent results.

13. Results oriented and self-driven with a proven performance track record.
