Our client, one of the leading microfinance in East Africa with headquarters in Nairobi and a network of branches, is seeking to recruit Sales Representatives to work in the Nairobi Central Business District.

Reporting To: The branch Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for aggressive and competitive Sales Representatives to help our client expand business by actively seeking and acquiring new clients while identifying their needs, demands and sell accordingly coupled with formulating strong relationships to ensure growth and preserve the firm’s prestige.

Key Roles

  • Contact potential clients, create rapport by networking, cold calling, using referrals to prospect and develop business segments as per company strategy with compliance.
  • Achieving branch business goals through quality sales and superior customer service to clients.
  • Providing competitive quotations to prospects.
  • Setting up meetings, preparing and delivering presentations to potential clients.
  • Developing and maintaining good working relationships with intermediaries and existing customers.
  • Introducing new products and promoting them through regular visits and frequent communication with intermediaries, existing clients and prospects.
  • Ensuring credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and competitors’ products.
  • Delivering good customer service by responding swiftly to queries and concerns from clients.


  • Goal-oriented with excellent skills in communication and presentation
  • Experience sales and marketing in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships is definite added advantage.
  • Must be a mature adult Kenyan citizen with responsibilities, Holder of Diplomas and Certificates from Tertiary institutions.
  • Ability to appraise the wishes and demands of business or individual customers and selling a suitable package.
  • Ability to maximize earnings growth, year on year, with a high commission-based pay structure and income benefits.
  • A person who is a self-starter, highly motivated and with self-confidence.
  • Prospecting, Negotiation and closing deals skills.
  • Must have a KRA PIN number and can obtain a clean certificate of good conduct.
